PLACING AN ORDER

Pre order

If you are pre ordering a product on our website and you want to guarantee you have it on release date select express shipping. With standard shipping we are unable to guarantee you will have your order on release date.

Important: Please note that for pre-orders purchased via MasterCard, VISA or PayPal we now take payment at time of shipping so please ensure you have funds available in advance of the release of the game.

I am having a problem with my games console

We recommend that you check with the console manufacturer first to see if your problem can be easily resolved.

Below are the approximate shipping time frames:

Currently GameStop.co.uk processes and ships items Monday-Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and/or shipped the following business day. We will not be processing or shipping orders on the following holidays (Sadly we have to close sometimes!): New Years Day, Christmas or any public/bank holidays. Additional processing time may be necessary on bank/public holidays.

GameStop.co.uk does not ship, nor are deliveries made on weekends. Weekend days should not be considered when calculating your delivery date.

Ship-To Prohibitions
Please be informed that your designated ship to address must reflect the address of the ultimate end-user. GameStop.co.uk will not process any order which specifies an address of a freight forwarder, mail forwarding service warehouse, distribution center, airport, hotel or PO Box.

PAYMENT QUERIES

In what ways can I pay for my order?

Currently we accept MasterCard, VISA card, PayPal, Maestro, Solo and Delta debit cards payments for products purchased online. GameStop Gift Cards are not a supported payment type.....yet!

When is payment taken for pre orders?

Important: Please note that for pre-orders purchased via MasterCard, VISA or PayPal we now take payment at time of shipping so please ensure you have funds available in advance of the release of the game.

When you place your order an authorisation is taken which can hold funds for up to seven working days. Funds will then be released and taken at time of shipping.

We take payment for any other card type pre orders when the order is placed.

I am having issues with using my credit card on your site

Credit cards can be tricky sometimes and need some investigation when they don't work as they should. Before getting in contact about a credit card issue please double check the available funds on the card, expiry date and that you have entered the correct number and verification code from the back of your card.

Where are the products I ordered?

We always strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. If you are waiting for your delivery and feel that it is taking longer than it should it you can check the following list of shipping timeframes:

I want to return a product I bought online

Not what you thought? That's okay; you can return products anywhere up to 7 days from receiving the delivery as long as the product and packaging are in brand new condition and unopened.

If you prefer you can send it back to our online returns department, keep in mind though that if shipping back an item it will take a few days for us to process the return/exchange. Before you send it back to our returns department please contact our customer service centre at help@gamestop.co.uk

Will I have to pay the postage costs for returns?

We are happy to reimburse postage costs for any good that has a manufacturers fault. Unfortunately we can't cover any postage costs if it's change of mind. Any product sent back to us without first being authorised by our Customer Service Team we are unable to refund postage costs.

GAME PROTECTION

What is this?

Game Protection offers peace of mind for gamers, when purchasing their games. GameStop will replace each game, that is found to be damaged/faulty, within 12 months of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.

There are three types of protection available depending on the value of your game.

  • €1 Bronze Game Protection for any game under €9.99
  • €2 Silver Game Protection for any game under €29.99
  • €3 Gold Game Protection for any game over €29.99


How Does it Work?

GameStop will replace each game, that is found to be damaged/faulty, within 12 months of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.

GameStop will offer a replacement used version of the same game, if available, or the customer can choose an alternative used game of similar value.

Game Protection allows for one game Replacement in a 12 month period.
Return postage will be refunded off your original transaction.

Are there any terms and conditions?

Game Protection is available for all Console Games (PC Games are not covered).
The Game must be returned complete with the manual and box.

Game Protection must be placed in the same order as the game.
If you purchase one Game Protection and a number of games, you can choose the game you wish to use the Protection on (once the game is in the correct price range for the Game Protection purchased).

If game that is purchased includes a bundle accessory, only the game/software is protected.
If the correct Game Protection for your Game is not purchased Game Protection is invalid.
